Need:

Time Magazine is always in need for original story ideas. The Corduroy Media has been a consistent contributor to the magazine’s online news site Time.com, for the past 2 ½ years. We have also produced pieces of video and photo journalism for MTV, Current TV,  MSNBC, The News Group, and Trib Total Media. View our TIME reel here.

Solution:

We pitched and produced still photographs and a video story on the yoga program inside San Quentin State Prison. The result was an emotionally moving and thought proving package of visually dynamic media. For a unique look into the demands of a TIME assignment, please read the case study here.

Photographer’s Notes:

“Having the unique opportunity to step into the largest prison in California was one of the most moving experiences in my career.” – Sean Donnelly
